Subject: Thank You!
Hi Shambhu,
Thank you so much hosting a table at the PACS Fall Forum on mental illness. Please share my thanks with your colleague as I do not have his email. I am so glad that you all were able to be part of the forum as an important proactive measure for students to focus on wellness.
I have attached a copy of the program that lists organizations working on this issue that were there in case you would like to connect with any of them. Be sure to check out the PACS Community Renewal Fund, which is also listed in the program. This is a way for your group to apply for some funding in PACS. The application can be found at ecv.unt.edu and is due by November 11 (please see the guidelines for more eligibility information).
Also, as you already know, I work with the nonprofit student group that Dr. Evenson mentioned in the forum. We are looking to work with other organizations throughout the year on this issue so that we can maximize efforts rather than duplicating efforts or competing with like-minded groups. Please let me know if you have any ideas for collaboration and keep me posted on your group’s events.
P.S. This was our first time hosting the forum in the coliseum. Please let me know if there are any suggestions or ideas for how we can make any aspects the forum even better in the future.
Thanks again so much for being part of the forum!
Best regards,
